Maddie Acord

Maddie is from Mount Airy, NC, and graduated from North Surry High School. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Lees McRae College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Mrs. Acord enjoys teaching fifth grade math and science. She began teaching at MCA in 2018, but substitute taught before she was a teacher, so she has been a lion at heart for a while now! When she isn’t teaching, she enjoys camping, kayaking, reading, and spending time with her loved ones. Mrs. Acord lives in Mount Airy with her husband, Blaze and her two dogs, Cash and Cooper.
